  30. It could very well be your modem.  First thing is to ensure that your
  31. internal modem is not on com1 or com2 using the standard IRQ's.  Put
  32. it on com3, irq5 if possible.  If that doesn't clear up your errors,
  33. try borrowing a friend's modem. If the errors go away, you've found
  34. the problem!
